The “Art of the Hunt” exhibit stages another artist demonstration day at the Wyoming State Museum in downtown Cheyenne on Saturday, November 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participating artists include Tom Mulhern, who carves wooden fish; Jack Mease, rawhide braider; quilter Sandy Pistano; and Jerry Andersen, who creates crafts from antlers. The event is free — stop by to see the artists at work.

The Wyoming Arts Council Folk Arts Program and UW American Studies Program produced the exhibit from five years of collaborative research documenting how Wyoming’s outdoor heritage has created renowned artisans of hunting and fishing gear and art.
