Jackson’s Off Square Theatre Company’s acclaimed Studio Series returns for 2008 on Thursday, Aug. 7, through Saturday, Aug. 9, 8 p.m., with four edgy productions in the new Studio Theater in the Center for the Arts.
The series starts with the funny and moving one-man show about what happens when a man loses his identity as a husband and a father, “A Little More Than You Wanted To Spend,” written and performed by Chris Clavelli. Clavelli, the associate artistic director of the Florida Repertory Theatre, appeared in Off Square’s spring production of “The Fourth Nail” and directed the local company’s sensational “Stones in His Pockets.”
The Center’s new Studio Theater is located off the Center Theater at the far end of the skywalk over the lobby.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for students/seniors, $15 for children.
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
