Tunes on the Trail

Blending live acoustic music with outdoor adventure, this initiative offers unique performances in Wyoming’s scenic state parks.

Tunes on the Trail is a collaborative program of the Wyoming Arts Council, Wyoming State Parks, and the Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation. Launched in 2025 and supported in part through the Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources’ Spark Tank! initiative, the program blends live acoustic music with outdoor recreation in some of Wyoming’s most scenic public spaces.

Tunes on the Trail is also part of the Wyoming Independent Music Initiative (WIMI), which supports Wyoming musicians and builds connections between the arts, community, and the outdoors.

2026 Summer Concert Series

This year, four Wyoming-based musicians were selected to perform unplugged 90-minute concerts at four beautiful state parks and historic sites. Each event includes a guided hike followed by a live acoustic performance, offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity for music lovers and nature enthusiasts to connect.
