Sensitivity training at Casper College


The last in Casper College’s “Summer Cultural Sensitivity Training Series” takes place on July 13-14, 2010, at the Strausner Student Center, Rm. 217.

Presenting this two-day workshop is Gary Bailey, M.S.W., which will focus on recognizing the affects of cultural bias and how to re-evaluate our own attitudes and personal experiences with people of different genders, social classes, religious and spiritual beliefs, sexual orientation, age, and mental and physical abilities.

Gary Bailey, MSW, ACSW is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the Eliot Pearson School of Child Study at Tufts University in 1977, and his Master of Social Work from Boston University School of Social Work in 1979. He is currently an Associate Professor at Simmons College Graduate School of Social Work, where he also holds an appointment as a Clinical Associate Professor at the Simmons School of Health Sciences.

The session is free and continuing education credits are available for service professionals.
