Spring concert in Casper features three groups

From a Casper College press release:

The Casper College Concert Band, Brass Ensemble, and Flute Ensemble, will be in concert on Saturday, March 28 at 3 p.m. in Wheeler Concert Hall.

“The concert band will play Arthur Pryor’s ‘Kansa Two-Step,’ Persichetti’s ‘Pageant’ and Philip Sparke’s ‘Fiesta De La Vida’ – three very difficult pieces of classic band literature sure to excite the audience,” said Douglas Bull, brass instructor and concert band director. “The flute ensemble will be performing along with the brass ensemble, which will perform ‘The Funky Heron’ a piece for brass ensemble by Robert Elkjer and selections from St. Saens ‘Carnival of the Animals.’” noted Bull.

The concert is free and open to all. Wheeler Concert Hall is located in the Music Building on the Casper College campus.
