Enjoy the glitter, lights and decor that dress the Wyoming Historic Governors’ Mansion during the “Tinsel Through Time: A Family Holiday” Opening Reception, November 20 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Historic Governors’ Mansion, in conjunction with the Wyoming State Archives, will feature historic holiday photographs from around the state, presents under the trees and great holiday decor. Carolers, entertainment and refreshments will be part of the magical evening as you stroll through the décor and holiday traditions of the Victorian era up to the groovy 1960s.

“This is a wonderful way to experience holiday traditions from the past,” Superintendent Christina Bird said.  “The lights, decoration and photographs will transport you to the past and get you in the holiday spirit.”

The exhibit runs November 21 through December 23, Wednesday through Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm and December 24 from 9 am to noon.

Sponsors include the Wyoming State Archives, Visit Cheyenne, Traders’ Shoppers Guide, McGee, Hearne & Paiz, Pioneer Printing and Wyoming Tribune Eagle.   Please call 777-7878 for more information or go online at wyospcr.state.wy.us for a full calendar of Holiday events at the Wyoming Historic Governors’ Mansion!
