Update from PALS in Lander

This comes from the latest e-mail newsletter from Promoting Arts in Lander Schools (PALS), a 2011 Governor’s Arts Award recipient:

PALS has been working to bring quality arts programs into Lander Schools since 1999. Exposure to and integration of the ARTS are the main areas of focus. We would like you to be informed of the distinctive programming we bring to the schools so that you may attend and/or have an informed conversation with your child about what happened at school today!

Attention, we are in need of a few volunteers…

  • Poster Hangers (hang event posters in various businesses and locations around town)
  • Ticket Table Sentries (taking money at PALS event ticket tables)
  • ABC Shirt Painters (help kindergartners paint letters on t-shirts, OCT 13-17 or before)
  • Newspaper Clippers (keep an eye out for PALS events in the newspaper, clip, mail to PO Box 1218–ongoing)

Please contact daninedonaho@palswyoming.org if you are interested in helping out or if you need further information.

We invite you to see the PALS web site at palswyoming.org, and like us on Facebook to receive updates as your student’s event dates approach and to see photos afterwards.
School assemblies are open to parents, but please contact Dannine Donaho for further information on attending classroom residencies at danninedonaho@palswyoming.org. Please be sure to have a volunteer form on file with the district prior to attending school events. It is simple and easy to fill out and available at the front office in each school.
