UW student-produced art show pops up above Laramie's Pedal House March 7

From a University of Wyoming press release:

A University of Wyoming student-produced art show will be exhibited Saturday, March 7, above the Pedal House, 207 S. First St., Laramie.

The UW Visual and Cultural Arts Program partners with the UW recognized student organization Student Art League to host a pop-up gallery, Studio 24 exhibition. A pop-up gallery is a short-term exhibition using an informal venue.

The exhibition, open to the public, will be open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. A formal reception is scheduled from 7-9 p.m., which will feature ready-to-sell artwork and silent auction items. Crowbar and Grill will cater the event.

Studio 24 is a unique show because of its unusual format. Artists receive a theme 24 hours before the show is installed. Within those 24 hours, they must produce as much work as possible. After the time limit, the artists go to the gallery venue to install their artwork. The show is then exhibited for an additional 24 hours before artwork is taken down.

All proceeds from the sale of the art will go toward an annual Student Art League educational trip.
