“View22: Painting Jackson Hole’s Open Spaces” is a collaboration between the artists at Trio Fine Arts and Jackson Hole Land Trust. A reception for “View22” will be held on Friday, Dec. 6, 5-8 p.m. at Trio Fine Art, 545 N. Cache. Proceeds will benefit JHLT and other land protection efforts in the valley. Homestead magazine features an in-depth look at two of the pieces in the exhibit by Kathryn Mapes Turner. “Cathedrals I” and “Cathedrals II” (see Homestead magazine image above, with the artist at left) are large oil paintings of aspen groves, a new format for Turner.
