Calling all writers, musicians, visual artists, actors, dancers, and performers!

Want to devote more time to your art in 2015?

Interested in taking your art to the next level?

Spend the afternoon with Ken Waldman, long-time Alaska writer and musician. Since 1995, Waldman has made his living writing, teaching, and performing in a wide variety of settings. The workshop is designed for artists of all disciplines and experience. Learn about readily-available resources that may not be commonly known. Learn, too, how to make a living through your art. Guaranteed: practical tips on making and marketing work. Also guaranteed: fun and inspiration.

Attend this free session with Waldman from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at the Nicolaysen Art Museum, 400 E. Collins Dr., Casper. If you’re attending the Equality State Book Festival Sept. 11-13 at Casper College, think about coming to Casper early for Ken’s talk.

Wyoming Arts Council staffer Michael Shay will be on hand for a Q&A about the WAC artist roster, which begins taking new applications on Oct. 1.

FMI: Michael Shay at 307-777-5234 or mike.shay@wyo.gov.

Ken Waldman’s short bio:
