The Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum announces it third annual Western Folk Art Show and Sale Nov. 7-Jan. 11. Opening night will take place from on FRiday, Nov. 7, 5-9:30 p.m. at the museum.
Here’s more info about the event from the Old West Museum web site:
“Cross the border between western folk life and fine western art with an exhibition of the arts, crafts and traditions learned by centuries of living off the land in the American west. Opening day festivities include western folk artists demonstrating traditional techniques. Some of the art that will be on display and available for sale is jewelry, Navajo weavings and leathers , cowboy folk art, saddles, leather tooling, baskets, regalia, furniture, quilts and much more!”

The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
