Strange Travel Suggestions with Jeff Greenwald

The Jackson Hole Writers and Teton County Library are teaming up to offer a free performance of travel writer Jeff Greenwald’s acclaimed one-man show. Inspired by three-plus decades as a memoirist and travel writer, Greenwald’s highly personal blend of anecdote will depend on audience participation and the journey may well include such far-flung destinations as Nepal, Iran, Senegal, Thailand and even Saudi Arabia.
The San Francisco Bay Guardian describes Greenwald’s show as, “Funny, keen-eyed and utterly engaging.”
Adult Summer Reading
Greenwald’s performance is part of Teton County Library’s Summer Reading program for adults, which includes author talks, writing workshops and book giveaways. Signing up for Summer Reading is simple at www.tclib.org/read.

Jeff Greenwald’s BIO
Greenwald is a photojournalist, author and stage performer whose experiences in Asia have framed his style of travel writing. His books include the best-selling Shopping for Buddhas, The Size of the World (for which he created the first international travel blog) and Snake Lake, a travel memoir set in Kathmandu. His travel stories and essays have appeared worldwide, including in Smithsonian, Afar, Outside, Islands, National Geographic Adventure, and Salon. www.jeffgreenwald.com
