The Wyoming Artists Association will hold its annual convention May 3-5 at the Laramie County Fairgrounds east of Cheyenne.
The gathering features a juried art show, a quick-draw competition, an “Artists Anonymous Sale,” a pastel workshop with Diane Edwards and an oil painting workshop with Rene Piskorski. An awards banquet will be held Saturday night at the Holiday Inn.
Annual membership fee for the WAA is $20. There are additional fees for meals, workshops and art show entries.
The Wyoming Artists Association is a 50-year-old statewide membership organization for visual artists.

The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
