The Wyoming Arts Conference Oct. 12-14 in Jackson will feature showcases by 24 talented performers and visual artists from Wyoming and throughout the region.
In a showcase, an individual artist or group takes the stage for 10 minutes to present their work to conference attendees, many of whom represent arts councils and facilities that regularly book artistic talent for their communities.
Showcases will be held at the Center for the Arts, 265 Cache St., Jackson.
Presenters include singer/songwriters, photographers, classical musicians, dance troupes, poets, jazz combos and storytellers.
They are: Men of Worth, Richard Hatch, Babs Case (Dancer’s Workshop), Pam Drews Phillips, Daniel Quintana, Drum Brothers, Nicole Madison, Derek Evans (The TR Show), Otter Creek, Cross Strung, Kate MacLeod, O Sole Trio, Luke Dowler, Rachel Shaw and Rob Verdi. Joining them will be these members of the Wyoming Arts Council artist roster: Scott Bragonier, Jared Rogerson, Macey Mott (Riot Act), Jennifer Tennican, Matt Daly, Andy Nelson, Doc Thissen, Judith Weikle and Dan Hayward.
