Wyoming Arts Council Grant Review Panels to Meet | 2013

The Wyoming Arts Council’s Grants to Organization program will meet in the Carnegie Room of the Fremont County Public Library in Lander on April 26-27 to evaluate grant applications and make recommendations for funding of FY 2014 grant awards to the WAC Board.

The panel meeting will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 26, and continue until reviews are completed for the day. It resumes at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, and will end when all grants are reviewed.

The Arts Education Panel will meet at Sheridan College in Johnson County, 235 Main Street in Buffalo, on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. Meeting times have yet to be determined.

The public is welcome to attend these meetings to observe the panel process, but will not be allowed to take part in the grant discussions. Comments on the process may be given to WAC staff members, who will present them to the WAC Board at its May 30-31 gathering in Laramie. At that meeting, the board will make final decisions on the FY14 grants.

The mission of the Wyoming Arts Council is to provide leadership and invest resources to sustain, promote and cultivate excellence in the arts.
