Wyoming Arts Council holds roster panel meeting Jan. 23

The Wyoming Arts Council will hold its annual artist roster application review panel by conference call on Friday, Jan. 23, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.  Staff members will be participating in the call from the Arts Council Gallery, 2320 Capitol Ave., Cheyenne.

Every year, the WAC invites Wyoming artists to apply to be included on the roster. A panel of artists and arts professionals then convenes to review the applications and rate them using criteria in six categories. Their recommendations are then provided to the Wyoming Arts Council board.

This year, the applications will be reviewed online through the WESTAF CaFE system and the panelists will discuss the applications Jan. 23 via a conference call. Those interested in listening in on the proceedings can get the access number by contacting the WAC at 307-777-7742 before 5 p.m. on Jan. 22.

Final decisions on roster artists will be made by the Wyoming Arts Council board during its February 26-27 quarterly business meeting at Little America in Cheyenne.
