The Wyoming Arts Council is developing its next strategic plan to guide the agency’s priorities, programs, and services in the years ahead. Public input is an important part of this process, helping the Arts Council better understand the needs, opportunities, and priorities of Wyoming’s arts and culture community.
The Arts Council’s current strategic plan extends through 2027. As a state arts agency and partner of the National Endowment for the Arts, the Arts Council maintains an up-to-date strategic plan to help guide its work and investments across Wyoming.
Help Shape the Arts Council’s Next Strategic Plan
Throughout the planning process, the Wyoming Arts Council is gathering feedback from artists, arts organizations, educators, partners, community members, and others connected to the arts across the state.
Public engagement began with a statewide survey and continues through conversations with partner organizations, virtual focus groups, and regional community meetings. Feedback gathered throughout the process will help inform the Arts Council’s priorities and work in the years ahead.
Public Engagement Focus Groups
The Wyoming Arts Council will host three virtual focus groups to explore themes and ideas identified through the public engagement survey in greater depth. Each 90-minute session will focus on a specific area of the Arts Council’s work and will be facilitated by Arts Council staff.
The focus groups are free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to attend the session most relevant to their interests or experience.

Public Engagement Survey
The Wyoming Arts Council’s public engagement survey invited people across the state to share feedback about the Arts Council’s work and the needs of Wyoming’s arts and culture community. The survey closed July 31, 2026, and responses are helping inform the next stages of the strategic planning process.
What’s Next
Following the survey and virtual focus groups, the Arts Council will continue gathering input through conversations with partner organizations and regional community meetings across Wyoming. Feedback collected throughout the process will help shape the next strategic plan and guide the Arts Council’s future priorities.
