Joshua Smith is a visual artist, with a studio practice in sculpture, furniture, public art, and land-based site-specific projects. With a sensitive awareness to the impact spaces have on our perception, he works with place heightening perception and interpretation of topographies and land-use policies. Joshua received his MFA From Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2005. He served as Assistant Professor and Gallery Director/Curator at Concordia University in Ann Arbor, and lecturer for the University of Michigan School of Art & Design. In 2010 Joshua moved back to Wyoming pursuing the driving interest and conceptual subject of his studio research.
