William Frederick Boycott as "Buffalo Bill", is from Lander, Wyoming.
Bill has been on the Wyoming Arts Council's Performing Artist Roster for over 28 years.
He also is a WAC Performing Arts Fellowship award
A Full-time Performer/Educator presenting thousands of live performance multi-media music/educational programs on the History of Wyoming and the West, the Oregon Trail and Lewis and Clark, at libraries, museums, Interpretive Centers, Educational institutions in Wyoming, from 1990 to 2018.

Co-Producer and Writer of Wyoming PBS presentations “Wyoming History Through Song” and “Along the Oregon Trail “ - both distributed and aired Nationwide to multiple Public TV Stations . Co-Producer and Writer of Wyoming PBS presentation “Holiday Roundup” (Cowboy Christmas Program) 2014.
Toured, performed and recorded with the Grammy Award winning group “The New Christy Minstrels” 2005-2008. Recorded with New Christy Minstrels, CD “Recyled, What’s Old is New” Greatest Hits, 2006, and “Merry Christmas, Volume 2, 42 Years Later”, 2007.
He performs historical, cowboy and original songs about Wyoming, the Wild West, the Oregon Trail, utilizing fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar and vocals. Bill also presents humorous cowboy poetry, tells stories in Traditional Native American Indian Sign Language and Yodels up a storm!!
He also performs at festivals, concerts, corporate and special events, and cowboy poetry gatherings all across the West and nationwide. He has performed in concert with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Waddie Mitchell and Riders in the Sky.
