Description:

An Idaho native, Brooke found her way to Wyoming in early 2014 through a job as a Forest Service Wilderness Ranger. Immediately inspired by the rugged mountains, blue ribbon fisheries, and eclectic cultures of the rural state, she graduated college (MSU Bozeman) and quickly moved to Wyoming. She currently teaches high school English and spends her free time writing, fishing, horseback riding, and keeping up with the small ranch she and her husband operate. Brooke's writing manifests primarily as poetry - rhythmic yet rather free in form - which focuses the little wonders (both beautiful and otherwise) of daily life.
