Susan Mark retired in 2024 from the Wyoming State Library where she managed the organization's blog and newsletter. She started writing in 1993 as a reporter at "The Park Record" in Utah. After moving to Wyoming, she went on to own and publish the "Tongue River News," work as news editor for "The Sheridan Press," and write for the state library's "Wyoming Library Roundup" magazine. Her poetry has been published in "High Plains Register," "Tulip Tree Review," and "The MacGuffin," as well as in the "Blood, Water, Wind, and Stone" anthology and several WyoPoets chapbooks. Susan is a past president of both WyoPoets and Wyoming Writers.
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
