Murphy Booth is a 2nd grade teacher in Lander, WY and was looking for a book on South Pass and its important history and its place in developing the Oregon Trail to read to her class and share with her son. She was not able to find what she was looking for, and the idea to write this book was born.
Ann Muirhead is a high school teacher in Cheyenne, Wyoming and is passionate about children's literature.
