Lacey was born and raised in Lander. From a young age, she was immersed in Wyoming's beauty through camping, fishing, hiking, and rock hunting. Her favorite hobby is fishing which inspired her Trout Collection. In other jewelry pieces, she uses organic materials to showcase the intricate details of nature that can be seen in some of her favorite places. Connecting with her surroundings not only fuels inspiration in her metal work, but keeps her motivated in everyday life.

Her metalsmithing journey began in 2017 when she started working for a jewelry supply company. Shortly after, she began experimenting with various organic materials in her jewelry pieces. In 2021, she founded Seminoe Metalsmithing, LLC to focus on her own designs and make a dream become a reality.

In addition, Seminoe Metalsmithing is also Wyoming's first permanent jewelry company. Lacey handmakes all of her charms and connectors by cutting, polishing and drilling each piece one by one.
