Katherine combines ancient techniques from various cultures with contemporary design in her jewelry. She has published technical articles for trade journals in her field, and her work has been featured in trade journals, print magazines and art journals in America and Europe. She has taught workshops from children to professionals in her field. She enjoys teaching her craft and opening up new possibilities for others. Workshop topics include etching, keum-boo, reticulation, tufa carving and casting. Students should be a minimum of 11 years old because of the manual strength and dexterity required for the processes.
