Sample Thank You Letter: FY17

The Wyoming Arts Council (WAC) should be acknowledged as a funding source for all grants

Following is the language that should be used: “Supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council“.

The Wyoming Arts Council is only sponsoring one component of a larger event?  We should be acknowledged as the sponsor of that arts project only, and not as a sponsor of the entire event.

Remove credit from all materials at the completion of the grant period.  Grantees should remove credit to the Wyoming Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts when the project is over.

The Wyoming Arts Council receives Federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and State funding from the Wyoming State Legislature, so one or both of these funding sources also need to be acknowledged, depending upon how your grant is paid.  Your award letter and Subgrantee Award Agreement (contract) will tell you which funding source was used to pay your grant.  See below for these additional acknowledgement requirements.

The banners feature the new colorful WAC logo and come in a mailing tube or case.   If given enough lead time, we can ship a banner to you, or you may pick up a banner at the WAC office in Cheyenne.  Contact us at (307) 777-7742 if you are interested in using a banner.  The number of banners are limited, so please return them the week following your event.
