The 16th annual Snowy Range Summer Dance Festival brings the finest in dance training to the University of Wyoming campus for eleven days of intensive study with distinguished faculty from around the country. These fine guests together with the reputable dance program and performing arts facilities at UW provide the best training as professional dancers, young dancers in training, and teachers come together to perform, learn and explore the many facets of dance.
In addition to technique classes, activities include seminars, student performances, lectures, and two evenings of discussion with guest teaching faculty and performers. Teachers attending the festival will have the opportunity for a special seminar specific to pedagogical approaches with guest faculty. All activities take place in a nurturing approach to learning where dancers observe experienced artists at work in diverse discussion, rehearsal and teaching environments.
We look forward to seeing you in Laramie in July!
