This e-mail went out via Cybergrants to Wyoming Arts Council grantees:
Dear CyberGrants Client,
As many of you may know, today marks the first IRS deadline for those organizations who have not filed Form 990 as required for three consecutive years. CyberGrants has spoken directly with the IRS to learn how these revocations will be reflected on the electronic Business Master File, which is the file we use to verify an organization’s 501(c)(3) status. According to the IRS, those organizations whose exempt status is revoked as a part of this process will no longer appear on the next available electronic file after their revocation takes place – in approximately 30-60 days. On the 15th day of the next several months, additional organizations will
likely be affected and their electronic records updated subsequently. Should an organization have their status reinstated, we expect them to reappear on the file accordingly.
For more information, visit the IRS page on the automatic revocation:

Should more information become available to us, we will keep all of you
informed.
Thank you,
Your CyberGrants Team
