Rebecca Barrett of the Downtown Cheyenne Mercantile Association sends info about a new event. “Girls Night Out: Third Thursday Therapy” will kick off on Thursday, April 16, 4-8 p.m. at businesses throughout downtown Cheyenne.
According to an event flyer, these types of “therapy” will be available to participants: art therapy, music therapy, girlfriend therapy, retail therapy, palate therapy, cocktail therapy, spa therapy and group therapy. Very therapeutic evening, I’d say. Participating arts-oriented merchants include The Link Gallery, Deselms Fine Art, Phoenix Books & Music and Bohemian Metals.
Downtown merchants are offering gift certificates as prizes. Look for the pink purse!

The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
