An artist talk with Colorado sculptor, Delissalde, will be held at the Wyoming State Capitol on Tues., Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. It is presented in conjunction with the official celebration commemorating the 150th anniversary of Wyoming women’s suffrage.
Delissalde was commissioned to create four allegorical sculptures for the rotunda niches of the State Capitol. “The Four Sistes” – Truth, Justice, Courage, and Hope – were installed in the summer of 2019. The life-size-and-a-half bronze sculptures represent values and attributes of Wyoming and its citizens. Delissalde was born and raised in Mexico City and currently works in his Atelier in Denver and in Aix-en-Provence, France.
