AIR hosts ArtPlace America grant workshop for rural Wyoming and Colorado on Oct. 8

Arts Incubator of the Rockies will host ArtPlace America staff for an evening to learn more about how the arts contribute to rural communities in Wyoming and Colorado and how to apply for the ArtPlace America National Grants Program.

The event will be held on Wednesday October 8, 4:30-6 p.m., at ArtWorks Loveland, 310 N. Railroad Ave., Loveland, Colo.

The evening’s program includes:

  • An overview of creative placemaking in the rural context from ArtPlace America Director of National Grantmaking F. Javier Torres and Director of Research Strategies Jamie Hand
  • Inspiration from the Arts Incubator of the Rockies and other local creative placemaking practitioners who have received national funding to support their work
  • Tips and suggestions for crafting a strong creative placemaking proposal
  • An opportunity to ask questions about the ArtPlace National Grants program
