Two days of FREE, exciting mountain adventure and culture films! The Banff Film Festival, held annually in Banff, Alberta, draws films from all over the world. Shortly after the winners are announced, you see only the “Best of the Fest” as they tour the country and the world with the show. Do not miss this wonderful opportunity that usually costs $20 or more a ticket. This event is made possible by the generous support of the UW Student Activities Council and Cross Country Connection. Dates: Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 18 & 19, 7 p.m.
Location: Gryphon Theatre, 710 E. Garfield St. (in the Laramie Plains Civic Center), Laramie
Tickets: Tickets are free and available at the UW Union Information Desk for students, faculty and staff (limit: 2 per ID, per night) beginning the first day of UW classes. Tickets for non-UW affiliated individuals are available through Gryphon Theatre directly. there are a limited number of tickets each evening.
