The Cheyenne Veterans Affairs Medical Center is holding an open house on Saturday, Jan. 10, 9-11 a.m., to promote its ninth annual Veterans Creative Arts Festival. It will be held in the main lobby of V.A. Medical Center on Pershing Ave. just off Converse in Cheyenne.
At the open house, veterans who are visual and performing artists may pick up an entry form at the open house. Staff will be on hand to help applicants fill out the forms. Deadline for applications is Friday, Dec. 13. The festival will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 17-18.

Note to veterans: The Wyoming Arts Council offers Individual Artist Professional Development grants to artists, performers and writers interested in taking the next step in their careers. In the past, the WAC has funded IAPD grants for travel, attending arts conferences, web site development and many others.
