This evening is the reception, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., for the Central Wyoming College Student Art Show, which runs from December 4 – 28, 2007 at the Lander Art Center.
“The student shows that the center hosts each year are like a breath of fresh air. These students are learning to master their materials and explore new frontiers in their art as they challenge cultural and artistic conventions, and have created the bright, exuberant and challenging work exhibited in this show.”
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
