The Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority has earmarked funds to have Artspace Projects, Inc. study downtown Cheyenne for a possible artist live/work space. The DDA Board approved $15,000 for the feasibility study, designed to identify appropriate downtown Cheyenne structures to house this unique type of art centers.
Artspace is a national non-profit organization based in Minneapolis that provides consulting services, property development, and asset management for communities in 20 states. Regionally, the organization is a partner with the City of Loveland, Colo., on an arts center in the old Feed and Grain Building.
