“This year’s Opportunity Quilt is called “Belize.” It is approximately 86″x107″. The top is bright fabrics with black background. The blocks were sewn by guild members and the top was then pieced by CHQ member Carole Gardner. It was machine quilted by Carole Gardner in a tight stippling in the black area and has an 80/20 blend batting. Tickets for an opportunity to take this beautiful quilt home may be purchased for $1.00 from any member of Cheyenne Heritage Quilters or at the 2011 Quilt Show.“ |
