"The Emperor and the Nightingale" on stage in Laramie Nov. 7-8

Laramie Children’s Musical Theatre and Studio 253 Presents:  “The Emperor and the Nightingale”

Comedy!  Tears!  Greed!  Gratitude!  Set in both ancient Japan and modern-day Beverly Hills, this new comic adaptation of “The Emperor and the Nightingale” features 11 actors, ages 8-12, in the retelling of this Hans Christian Andersen tale about a bird with a beautiful voice and the selfish people who want to own her.

Written and Directed by Deborah Kassner.

On stage Friday, November 7 at 7 p.m.  and Saturday, November 8 at 4 p.m. in the Gryphon Theatre, Laramie Plains Civic Center, Laramie.

Tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for children at the door.

Doors open 20 minutes before showtime.

The play runs approximately 50 minutes with no intermission.  Appropriate for all ages.
