The history of F. E. Warren Air Force Base is the focus of the Wyoming State Museum’s first lecture series presentation of 2009.
The lecture, “F.E. Warren: Through the Years,” begins at 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 8, in the Barrett Building Multi-Purpose Room at 2301 Central Ave. in downtown Cheyenne.
Paula Taylor, director of the Warren ICBM and Heritage Museum, will revisit the 142 years of F. E. Warren Air Force Base and its change from an Army installation to an Air Force base.
F. E. Warren Air Force Base is the oldest continuously active base in the Air Force system and features the latest Intercontinental Ballistic Missile technology.
