Enroll now for “Drawn to Annihilation: The Holocaust presented in graphic novel form,” a pair of fall 2015 Casper College “Learning Communities” classes taught by Dr. Joseph Campbell (English) and Lance Jones (History).
Here’s a short description:
The Holocaust, the destruction of European Jews and others by National Socialist Germany and her allies during the period of 1933-1945, continues to haunt the collective conscience of humankind. The graphic novel has become a genre of literature, respected in its own right, and cannot be dismissed as a mere “comic book” in today’s culture. Dr. Joseph Campbell and Lance Jones will present the historic events of one of the darkest times in human history, recorded in the visual form of the modern graphic novel.
