Holiday Art Fair set for Dec. 7 at Lander Art Center

News from the Lander Art Center:

Art in the Afternoon is the Lander Art Center’s signature holiday art fair on Dec. 7, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

It features high quality fine art and high craft work. More than 65 artists local and regional artists will be participating in this year’s fair with a wide variety of artistic mediums which include: jewelry, pottery, photography, painting, clothing, printmaking and more. This year Art in the Afternoon will be featured in a new, larger space at the Lander Community Center allowing for larger booth spaces for artists and more aisle space for shoppers. There will also be dedicated space for food, drink and seating. Breakfast items will be provided by the Lander Bake Shop and a soup lunch available from the Lander Valley High School Art Club. The Lander Art Center will offer both non alcoholic and alcoholic holiday drinks available by donation. Entry is $2, kids 12 and under are free. Entry supports Art Center programming.

Also new this year will be a special evening event for Lander Art Center (LAC) Members. A Members Preview and Social will be held December 6 from 6-8 p.m. offering members the first chance to shop, complimentary food and drink, and an update on the LAC organization. Those who wish to become an LAC member may sign up at the door on December 6 or stop in at 224 Main Street. Single membership starts at $30 with many benefits throughout the year.
