“The Holladay Brothers Present Geo-Mapped Music,” a performance that connects music and art, is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, in the University of Wyoming College of Education auditorium.

Hays and Ryan Holladay, brothers and collaborators, have connected art and technology with an emphasis on music and sound. They have pioneered work in location-aware composition — music created and mapped to a physical space that uses a device’s built-in GPS functionality to alter the music as the listener moves across an area of space.

UW’s Visual and Cultural Arts sponsors the free public performance.
