Self-motivated artists searching for the time, space, and resources needed to explore ideas and create new work, here is your opportunity! The Lander Art Center hosts an artist in residence for a term of six months or more. Chosen applicants will be provided studio space, access to studio equipment, and an annual Art Center membership. Studio equipment includes combination printing press, pottery wheel, artist tools, artist easels, discounted art art supplies and more. In exchange, the resident will be responsible for assisting the Lander Art Center in their mission of advancing arts in the local community. A total of six volunteer hours is required each week in exchange for work space and Art Center equipment use. Artists gain exposure, build their artist resumes and expand their network of aspiring and professional artists in this enriching residency experience.
