Wyoming Arts Council to Hold Quarterly Board Meeting and Host Public Reception May 13-14, 2024 in Jackson


The Wyoming Arts Council board will hold a quarterly meeting May 13-14, 2024 at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson. The National Museum of Wildlife Art is located at 2820 Rungius Road in Jackson. Beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, the board will convene to hear reports, plan for upcoming events, and get updates on current Arts Council initiatives. An executive session may be called if necessary. The meeting will continue from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. 

The board invites individuals and organizational representatives to attend any part of the meeting to observe the board process. Review and discussion upcoming grants, including the grant panel recommendations for the Fiscal Year 2025 (July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025) Community Support Grant will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.The board will be available to hear public comment on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and this will be the only time when the public can comment on the grant review process. The Wyoming Arts Council will also be hosting a free public reception at the Center for the Arts in Jackson on Monday, May 13th. This is an opportunity to mingle with the members of the WAC board and staff and engage in captivating conversations about the vibrant arts and culture scene in Wyoming from 5 pm. to 6:30 p.m. in the Center Commons. This is an opportunity for grantees, artists and creatives, and those that work in the cultural sector from Teton County and beyond to connect with fellow like-minded individuals and forge connections. The Center for the Arts is located at 240 S Glenwood Street in Jackson.
