Some background on the performance from today’s Casper Star-Tribune:
When people in Jackson encounter tough times, the Community Resource Center is always there to help. The group is now partnering with Off Square Theatre Company to produce a staged reading that shares the stories of people who’ve been helped from CRC.
Writers and a musician interviewed CRC staff and clients to collect stories. Then Director Caryn Flanagan assembled them into a full-length production, “Mercy: The CRC Project,” with music from Madelaine German.
Twenty performers, including several children, will bring the one-day show to life. A talkback and reception will follow with the actors, writers and director.
