Musician Mike Mitchell returns to his “County 10” roots Nov. 1

Mammoth Music Store, 318 E. Main Street in Riverton, has lured Mike Mitchell from Denver to perform an acoustic set at its grand opening at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1. He also will perform at Bar 10 in Riverton from 9:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m. later that same night, along with friend Rick Smith from My Sick Friends.

Mitchell, who graduated from Wind River High School in Pavillion, will be doing songs from Thief River, his current band, and Rexway, along with some covers.

Mitchell says that “it’s been awhile since I’ve played in Wyoming — I’m looking forward to getting up there!”
