Carol Deering, Central Wyoming College librarian, sends this:
N. Scott Momaday, the first Native American to win a Pulitzer Prize (for his first novel, House Made of Dawn), will spend two days in Fremont County this April. On April 2, he will present, “Establishing Good Relations: Recognizing What We Have in Common,” at 7 p.m. in the Robert A. Peck Theatre at Central Wyoming College in Riverton. Afterwards, he will sign books (some will be for sale that night, for cash or check).
On April 3, Dr. Momaday will be celebrated at a community-honoring feast at Rocky Mountain Hall, in Ft. Washakie, from 6-9 p.m. Both of these events are free and open to the public. They are partially funded by the Wyoming Humanities Council.
Come for the presentation, stay for the celebration!
