NEA offers Jan. 21 webinars for Arts Works and Imagine Your Parks grants

The National Endowment for the Arts sent us this information about two webinars scheduled for Jan. 21:

1. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 – 3:00 p.m. Eastern

Art Works Guidelines Webinar:

This will be a general guidelines workshop for potential Art Works applicants (non-profit organizations.

There will be an overview presentation followed by a Q&A session.

2. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 – 4:30 p.m. Eastern

Imagine Your Parks Guidelines Workshop:

This webinar will feature Imagine Your Parks, a new grant initiative within the Art Works category, established to celebrate the NEA’s 50th anniversary in 2015 and the National Park Service’s (NPS) centennial in 2016.

NEA and NPS will provide $1 million in funding for projects that engage people with national parks, national historic sites, trails, rivers, seashores, landmarks, monuments, heritage areas, preserves, battlefields, recreational areas and more.

NEA staff will be joined by Clarence Fluker, with the NPS Office of Public Affairs, to share information about this initiative and answer questions from the field.
