The Wyoming Young Writer’s Camp is back!
After a hiatus of several years, the camp will be held July 27-August 2, 2013, at the Northern Wyoming Community College District Spear-O-Wigwam Mountain Campus in the Big Horns.
You are eligible to apply if you are 15-18 years old and have an interest in creative writing.
Instructors are Micah Wyatt, Christine Fadden and Kara Bacon.
Course Description: Do you write? Do you want to write better? Learning how is as simple as opening a blank journal in an environment where your mind is stimulated by nature and open spaces. Come spend a week with three writing facilitators who will foster you in breaking down the barriers between you and the blank page. We offer instruction in playwriting, short and long fictions, poetry, creative nonfiction, songwriting and explore your own forms. Take the opportunity learn from one another with thoughtful feedback
Registration fee is $300.
