Robert Roripaugh and Julianne Couch will read from their new works Friday, December 7, at Second Story Books in downtown Laramie. Roripaugh, former Wyoming poet laureate, will read from his short story collection The Legend of Billy Jenks. Couch will read from her travel memoir Jukeboxes and Jackalopes: A Wyoming Bar Journey. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m.; the reading will start at 7.
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
