The Wyoming Business Council is placing display ads in newspapers throughout the state about the Wyoming State Fair Aug. 11-18 in Douglas. Here’s some info from the ads:
Wyoming Products Pavilion, open August 11-18 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Buy Wyoming-made products at the Products Pavilion in the Ft. Fetterman Building. Items include horse-hair pottery, aspen furniture, spices, candles, lotions, metal artwork, jewelry, wildlife and western photographs, books, DVDs and CDs, clothing and more. Demonstrations will occur daily! Wyoming artists will show off their skills and exhibit their trade.
Wyoming Author‘s Day will take place on August 18 from 12 p.m.to 6 p.m. at the Wyoming Products Pavilion. Meet the authors, listen to book readings and get great giveaways!
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
