From the Casper Artists’ Guild and the Casper Chamber Music Society:
Join us at on Sunday, Aug. 23, 4-5 p.m., for a wonderful event – free and open to the public – in Casper’s most exciting new art space at Art 321, 321 W. Midwest Ave., Casper.
David Romtvedt, former Wyoming poet laureate and lead singer of The Fireants, will perform a program of Basque music with his daughter, Caitlin Belem, and read from his new novel, Zelestina Urza in Outer Space, about a Basque immigrant who moves to Wyoming. Don’t miss this chance to meet up with your friends for an end-of-summer blast and find out about upcoming programs by CCMS and Art 321. Free-will donations for the benefit of Art 321 will be gratefully accepted. See you there!
This event is made possible by the University of Nevada Center for Basque Studies with support from the Johnson County (Wyo.) Library Foundation, the Caitlin Long Excellence Fund, the University of Wyoming English Department, and the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, a program of the Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources.
